Try Sled Head, the new beer from State Fare and Jailbreak Brewing Company, this weekend!
To celebrate the start of winter and to help get us through the shortest day of the year, State Fare has collaborated with local Jailbreak Brewing Company to craft another tasty beer. You can start picking up the seasonal “Sled Head” brew at State Fare on December 21st at 10 a.m. We only have a limited supply, so showing up early is the best way to get your hands on this delicious new pale ale brew for the upcoming holidays. What is Jailbreak Brewing Company?
Jailbreak Brewing Company began in 2013 and became fully operational in 2014. The company is based out of Laurel, Maryland, and consists of a small team of people with experience in various industries and the shared passion for making something unique. They certainly do that, with their vast array of creative, unexpected beer brews (“Lemon Meringue Funk,” anyone?). You can visit their Taproom for tastings while getting an impressive view of their 16,000 square foot brewing facility.
Jailbreak Brews at State Fare
State Fare has been a fan of Jailbreak for a while, and we already have a few of their 12-ounce cans on our beer menu. If you miss out on Sled Head, you can see if the following tasty brews are available:
Feed the Monkey
This German Hefeweizen combines notes of clove and banana with citrus aromas and flavors to create an intoxicatingly wild flavor.
Special Lady Friend
This all-Mosaic hazy IPA is the result of a year’s worth of experimentation with yeasts, hops, and techniques. This brew boasts a more purified expression of the popular Mosaic hops.
White Russian Coffee Cream Ale
This golden brew has a sweet coffee and vanilla aroma, with a flavor of creamy coffee and vanilla. The smooth beer is perfect for those who can’t decide whether to drink coffee or beer to warm up this winter.

The new State Fare x Jailbreak Brewing Company beer “Sled Head” is a hazy double India pale ale with 9.0% alcohol by volume in our sixteen-ounce cans.
