Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. It’s so easy to grab a generic greeting card and a heart-shaped box of chocolates, but, if you’re looking for the perfect date night with your valentine we’ve compiled a few suggestions that just might do the trick!
Spa Day
Few things are more romantic than time spent relaxing and unwinding alone with that special someone. Often, day spas will have special Valentine’s Day couples’ treatments or promotional rates for certain services. Life can get pretty hectic, between school, or work, or kids, whatever your situation is. Valentine’s Day is the perfect reason to take a day and indulge yourselves in some relaxation.
Go See a Comedy Show
Another way to unwind this Valentine’s Day is to go see a comedy show. A quick Google search will tell you what comedy clubs are in your area. There are many different types of comedy shows out there, from magic to stand-up and everything in between. Your valentine will love the chance to have a couple of drinks and a lot of laughs!
Roller Skating or Ice Skating
It may sound sort of “old school,” but roller skating is a classic Valentine’s Day date activity for a reason. Find a local roller skating rink and do some skating before you head out to dinner. Your local rink will most likely be decorated for the holiday, too, which will add an extra magical touch to your evening.
If roller skating isn’t really your speed, find a local ice skating rink with public skating hours. Ice skating rinks are usually kept pretty cold, so don’t forget to bundle up!
